"The Reassuring" is the second part of a triptych on the fierce, coveted hope for better times, which began with "The Guide For The Perplexed". If the latter was inspired by the texts of the rabbinic tradition deputed to collect the answers to the existential questions, this further chapter addresses a dreamlike and a real past, both populated with tetragone childhood certainties, reassuring images embedded in an indefinite time: perhaps no less harsh than today, but clearer in its inevitable confrontation.
