Is it music that stimulates our dreams? Or is it what surrounds us that shapes the notes, the sounds? Perhaps there is no answer, or rather the answer will always be different and personal.

In "Visions" I imagined places, people, sensations that I experienced, or that I could have lived like in a movie, and I set them to music. Visions, images and gestures become sound, in such an intimate and unique way as to form my own path of emotions.

A blinding sun on a beach in the distant past ("Life And Memories"). The loss of a young man struggling with depression ("Lost Visions"). A night trip by taxi in an exciting metropolis full of lights and emotions, but also the melancholy of a day about to end ("City Nights"). A mysterious adventure in a cold northern sea with my son ("Tidal Voices", in which he also plays for the first time). A thriller in the dark of a cinema hall ("Paths"). A sci-fi video game in a dystopian world ("Noisepsychosis"). The latest on streaming spy series set in the Seventies ("Whispers"). And of course, the journey into the future could not be missing: a journey to distant and unexplored worlds, looking at the stars from the porthole of the spaceship ("Blue Star Voyage").

Everyone will find their own key to enter "Visions". The one proposed by Fabio Fazzi is an impressionist passepartout that introduces us to the stories briefly illustrated in the notes accompanying the album.

Don't be fooled, though. Don't be fooled by the still waters.

"Visions" contains the anxieties of the best research music of the twentieth century: stravinskian percussiveness and mood swings, the reichian ostinatos, the cold jarresque arpeggiatos, Cut Hands tribalisms, the lucid dreams of hypnapop. And at the end of this dizzying path, a pleasant sensory overload will have invigorated your soul.
