about

"The directrix from the center to the north
it appeared as a straight, fast line
and only in the last stretch
it was clear that a polarity reversal
it would have changed relations and equilibrium
generating blasts, combustions, cellular brain fusions
and a whole host of memorable things".

Roma.

Surfacing sound ripples, introverted piano and guitar loops, electrostatic crackles: this sonic ectoplasm does nothing but describe the inner city, the one you carry inside and the one you can prosaically perceive. Often the two are in conflict, and it is precisely from this conflict - the memory of the city that was and the brutal experience of everyday life - that these trembling and uncertain traces are born, built on thinned and remote melodies and on an inescapable suspension.

The city of institutional buildings illuminated from below at night, with their thick walls as bastions of political mystery, the vaults and ceilings that can be perceived by throwing fleeting glances upwards, the eyes focused on beauty, travelling with public transport to cross the city from one side to the other without any particular purpose, just for the sheer topographical pleasure.

File under: gray ambient/postrock/sonic urban landscape/ājñā or the sixth chakra.
