Lucy Mina's fifth album on Asbestos Digit shows a reflective, painful streak, a not entirely new note - and those who know Lorenzo Ferraris' music know it - but here much more present, a sign of a new compositional maturity.

This doesn't mean that Lucy Mina renounces the sonic assault of the previous works: songs like "Nine Guitars" and "Now Violet" testify to the red thread that links her productions with that movement of maximalist psychedelia that in the late 80's - early 90's fired british rock. You can say there's room for the inexorability and the outburst of noise, and for the most intimate concerns. - Asbestos City, january 2020
